Further to the recent news posted on our website, Rewiring Australia awarded a 2025 community energy grant to ZE4075 Inc.  The grant provides $2,000 and significant support from Rewiring Australia throughout the year.  In addition, we've agreed to support Rewiring Australia to raise the awareness of the electrifying everything initiative in our community prior to the next federal election. 

This is not a partisan request, it is not supportive or against any political party.  The initiative simply promotes the electrification of our homes, businesses and personal transport to save money, develop a fairer energy system and promote local employment to upgrade our appliances and vehicles.  Rewiring has provided materials to support our upcoming events.

We are calling for support to kickstart the conversations across our community to make our local area, energy self-sufficient, cut our bills and emissions while increasing the uptake of solar, EVs, and energy-efficient appliances. And now, that we’ve teamed up with Rewiring Australia (yes, the one led by the legendary Saul Griffiths) we believe this will supercharge our impact!

We are having a monthly meeting on Thursday and we’ll be diving into what this partnership means for our community—think practical steps, real outcomes, and maybe even a few nerdy chats about kilowatts and home electrification.

Please come to the lower level of Westside HQ to be directed to the meeting room. The club is under maintenenace and we will meet in an appropiatly sized venue on the night.
