The AGM gives us an opportunity to reflect on the work completed to date and prepare for the year ahead. There are many critical decisions that are required from members of the association, and for this reason, the AGM is our most important meeting of the year. Coming into the hot and humid months, renters often suffer from uncomfortable homes. So, for a short time, we’re offering a free home energy service for Queensland renters! Energetic Communities in partnership with Tenants Queensland is running Empowering Renters, an extensive energy literacy and support program helping renters understand their energy bills, how they’re using energy, health impacts, reducing the impact of heat and cold, and what options they have as renters.

The nomincations for the manamange committee roles for Zero Emissions 4075 Inc in 2026 have been submitted for review and will be voted on at the upcoming annual general meeting on 20 November.

The Qld Government is developing a program to offer up to $3,500 to eligible landlords to install up to 6,500 rooftop solar installations across the state later this year. Rewiring Australia approved a 2025 community energy grant to ZE4075 Inc. ZE4075 Inc. is thrilled for being one of eight allocated grants out of forty applicants. The grant provides $2,000 and significant support from Rewiring Australia throughout the year.
